Happy retirement, Stan!
After more than 30 years delivering post to Stambourne, our much-loved postie, Stan, will be completing his final round on 14th November before hanging up his mail bag to enjoy a well-earned retirement. The whole village would like to thank him for his dedication, his kindness, and the smile he has brought to our doorstep for so many years.
To show our appreciation, Stan will be our guest of honour on 29th November, when he will switch on the Christmas lights on Stambourne’s tree outside the Village Hall. We hope to see as many of you as possible there to celebrate and thank him in person.
