Winter 2023/24 // Dangerous footbridge in Stambourne: walkers in Stambourne should be aware that the footbridge on the public footpath between Windy Ridge in Chapel End Way and Park Wood is damaged. The bridge has one completely broken plank and several others are extremely soft. This has already been reported to Essex County Council and they have advised that it may take up to 56 days for the bridge to be assessed before any repairs may be undertaken.
