Sunday, 7th May 2023 — from 3pm // Join us for a picnic on the Stambourne Playing Field to celebrate the King Coronation! Bring along your picnic and join us for live music, games, fancy dress competition, face painting, quiz, memorabilia corner, donations of cakes & an evening BBQ. The lighting of the beacon will take place at 8pm.

Join us for a Coronation Picnic on the Playing Field!

Join us for a picnic on the Stambourne Playing Field on Sunday, 7th May 2023 from 3pm to celebrate King Charles III’s Coronation.

Bring along your picnic and join us for live music, games, fancy dress competition, face painting, quiz, memorabilia corner, donations of cakes, an evening BBQ, lighting of the Beacon, and much more!

Programme

  • 3pm: Start of the celebrations
  • Coffee, tea and cake provided
  • Activities will include: games, fancy dress competition, face painting, quiz, memorabilia corner, quiz
  • Live music by Reflections
  • 5.30-6pm: BBQ
  • 8pm: Lighting of the Beacon

Bring your own tables, seats, picnic, nibbles, drinks, etc.
