Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Cornish Hall End, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Finchingfield Road for a distance of approximately 3390m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd October 2022 for 16 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2301149 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Description
Patching takes place to repair the road surface, it involves removing a part of the surface around a pothole and placing a new patch of road surface.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Cornish Hall End, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Finchingfield Road for a distance of approximately 3390m in a southerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd October 2022 for 16 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2301149 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Little London Hill, Howe Street, Duck End, The Causeway, The Green, Brent Hall Road, Sampford Road, Hawkins Hill, Finchingfield Road, Hill Road, High Street, Moor End Road, Anso Road, Bumpstead Road, Hempstead Road, Water Lane, North Street, Haverhill Road, Chapel Street, Finchingfield Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 15th September 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
